News & Interviews / Mally,s Christmas Show ...
« on: December 20, 2017, 12:02:04 PM »

An amazing evening of live music at The Victoria Dalston for Mally's Christmas show.

Stellar performances for Colonial Sun. Mally Harpaz and Valve.

Mally,s set had one of the most incredible line -ups of  musical talent, that I have ever seen on one stage.  Mally is a great multi- instrumentalist in her own right, but was joined by Hazel Iris, Hana Pirahna and other great musicians , including a guitarist on the right, who you might recognise  :)

A really memorable night for those of us lucky enough to be there !

Mally Harpaz  has organised two shows in London Pubs in November  under  her " Blind Dog Studios Presents "  banner.

The first is on 6 November in  The Betsy Trotwood at 56 Farringdon Rd, EC1R 3BL..
Featuring Mally,  Colonial Sun and  Ciara Clifford .   We saw James Marples   ( Colonial Sun ) at Stoke Newington , and he was very good.  Looking forward to seeing Ciara Clifford....    Mally will be playing Drums on all three sets !  :)

The second is on 21 November at Servant Jazz Quarters  10 A   Bradbury St. N16 8JN . Dalston.  London.

This time with Mally ,  Colonial Sun and the amazing Hazel Iris....

All these Pub Gigs are really good fun and are a good chance to see some top rate music in a friendly intimate setting.  Plus they are only £8 to get into   :)

Hope to see a few of you there.

News & Interviews / Anna Calvi . Live At Meltdown . 2017 RSD release
« on: April 22, 2017, 05:36:13 PM »

The recording of Anna's 2015  Meltdown  concert at The Southbank Centre was released today for RSD 2017 on  Vinyl.
Limited to 750 copies and on double 180 gram vinyl.
I queued up today for an hour, and it was well worth it.... The recording and sound are very high quality, and obviously came straight off the mixing desk.

This is a great reminder for those of us who were there on the night, whilst we wait patiently for the new album.
