Timber Timbre

Timber Timbre… So wonderfully creepy! It’s really a great match for Anna, similar to Papi Pacify. I would love if Anna did a cover of them. (As an Anna fan I would probably love if she did a cover of anyone) I really enjoyed their newest album, Hot Dreams, which is their strongest album to date in my opinion.

The title track, , is quite haunting. I think it would be an excellent choice.
I love the lyrics:
And I will follow through, follow through
On all my promises and threats to you, babe

Of course, Lonesome Hunter is pretty disturbing too!

It's good OK and/but wierd.

It starts off sounding like it should be a 1950s jukebox B-side smoochie dance, then it gets noirish, then it decides to throw caution to the winds and out-Gothick Nick Cave and George A. Romero ...

I really like the tension between the lyrics and the music - I mean, that sweet kitsch violin, when that comes in under the murderous verse,  I'm all "awww ... eww .... aww ... aieee!!"

I have no idea how you could cover this, so I'd love to be surprised. And scared. Maybe. A little.
